Rapa Nui native Mahani Teave learned to play the piano on her island's only instrument

Last weekend, on my radio show "Catch of the Day," we visited with Mahani Teave, a concert pianist whose musical odyssey began on her ancestral Rapa Nui (Easter Island), where she now leads a school. The program also featured tracks from her debut recital album Rapa Nui Odyssey. As I mentioned at the time, I had a more formal portrait of Mahani in the works for Air Mail (airmail.news), and as of today it's online. By all means, check it out.
